The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles will be making their long-awaited return to Auckland on Friday night, marking their first appearance in the city since 2019.

The Sea Eagles will be facing off against the Warriors in what promises to be a memorable clash, as it is part of the NRL's Daniel Anderson Round.

In a fitting tribute to the former coach of the Sea Eagles, the venue has been renamed Daniel Anderson Stadium, thanks to the collaboration between the One New Zealand Warriors and naming rights sponsor, Go Media.

The event will also serve as a fundraising opportunity for Anderson, who suffered a devastating spinal cord injury last year.

This weekend's NRL and NRLW matches will contribute to the ongoing efforts to support him.

The Warriors are set to hold their annual old boys' day, with former players from the Anderson era coming together to show their support for the cause.

A parade of honor is scheduled to take place at 7.10 pm, adding to the nostalgic atmosphere.

Prior to the NRL feature, the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles and the Warriors will face off in a crucial match for both teams in the NSW Cup at 5.30 pm.

The gates will open at 5.15 pm, giving fans ample time to soak in the excitement.

Additionally, spectators can look forward to a stunning light and laser show during halftime of the NRL match, making it a truly unforgettable night for all involved.
