The Manly Sea Eagles find themselves two wins shy of entering the top eight, yet coach Kieran Foran firmly believes the team will not give up.
Currently sitting in tenth place, the Sea Eagles saw their playoff ambitions take another serious blow on Friday night with a sixth consecutive defeat against the Dolphins.
Although they still have a mathematical chance of reaching the finals, their road to the top eight is becoming more challenging. The team must secure victories in all their remaining matches while hoping for favorable outcomes in other games.
Even with their season hanging by a thread, Foran remains resolute that the club will continue to battle until their postseason hopes are officially extinguished.
"We want to show plenty of fight. We still don't know what can happen," Foran expressed after the match.
"At the end of the day, we want to fight all the way to the end and that's been the attitude and mentality the whole way through."
