The Sea Eagles have made a strategic move by re-signing their hardworking hooker, Lachlan Croker, just in time for the November 1 deadline.

According to news.com.au, Croker has agreed to extend his contract for an additional two seasons, ensuring his presence on the northern beaches until the end of 2026.

This is a crucial retention for the Sea Eagles, as Croker was not only the club's player of the year in 2022 but also led the team in tackles this season.

With Croker's continued commitment to the club, it paves the way for the development of young talent Gordon Chan Kum Tong.

Tong has already made an impressive start for Manly towards the end of the year, and having Croker's experience and leadership in the spine will greatly benefit the team's growth.

Sea Eagles coach Anthony Seibold expressed his delight in securing Croker's services for an extended period, stating, "Lachlan has been one of the most consistent players over the last two seasons.

It's great for us to be able to extend him out for a further two years.

He has played over 100 games for the club now and is a great team man.

You know what you are going to get with 'Crokes'."

This re-signing is a fantastic advertisement for the Sea Eagles, as it showcases their ability to retain key players and build a strong foundation for future success.

Croker's reliability and contributions to the team make him an invaluable asset, and his continued presence will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the Sea Eagles' performance in the upcoming seasons.
