Josh Schuster has dismissed any speculation regarding a coffee meeting with Manly Sea Eagles coach Anthony Seibold leading to a contract signing.

Recently, Schuster was seen sharing coffee with Seibold, an image captured by journalist Michael Chammas.

In his social media update, Chammas highlighted that Seibold and Schuster maintain a close friendship.

Currently 24, Schuster played under Seibold during the latter part of his time with Manly, and they have continued to foster their friendship.

Once heralded as one of the sport's promising young talents, Schuster has played 50 matches for Manly, primarily in the second row and at five-eighth, even serving as captain of the New South Wales under-18 team during his development.

After departing from Manly at the conclusion of the 2024 season, he joined the South Sydney Rabbitohs. However, his one-year tenure there was unsuccessful as he did not get the opportunity to play at the first-grade level.

Despite these setbacks, it's known that Schuster still aspires to pursue a professional career in rugby league. At this moment, he is navigating through some mental health challenges.
