Tonga's victory over Samoa at a packed CommBank Stadium earned them a Rugby League World Cup semi-final against New Zealand in Newcastle on Saturday.
Samoa face Australia in Sydney on Sunday, and forward Junior Paulo is available after receiving a warning over a first-half shoulder charge.
Referee Adam Gee penalised and placed Paulo on report for contact with Tongan winger Dallin Watene-Zelezniak.
The contact appeared direct but was well below Watene-Zelezniak's head and jaw; it may have been the only reason Paulo stayed on the field.
The match review committee classified the incident as Grade 1, giving Paulo a warning because it was his first offence under World Cup rules.
Should Paulo challenge the decision at the judiciary, he risks a suspension that could rule him out of the semi-final.
He is now on a suspension tightrope for the rest of the tournament, and Samoa could struggle without one of their leaders.
The team are already without forwards Payne Haas, Terrell May and Jeremiah Nanai.
Paulo was the only player charged from Sunday's two matches; France and Lebanon had earlier played a golden-point thriller.
