Samoa will open their 2026 World Cup campaign against France at CommBank Stadium on Friday, 16 October, at 5.45pm.
Jarome Luai has been named in the 23-player Toa Samoa squad for the IRL Rugby League World Cup.
The Wests Tigers five-eighth has played nine World Cup matches for Samoa and made 17 appearances for the country overall.
That total places Luai second behind Junior Paulo, who has represented Samoa 20 times.
Luai joined Wests Tigers in 2025 and scored five tries across 41 games for the club.
In 2026, the co-captain scored four tries in 20 appearances.
He is due to join Parramatta Eels next season before moving to PNG.
