‘Same voices’: Ciraldo’s blunt response to critics

Bulldogs coach Cameron Ciraldo has responded firmly to criticism regarding his player Lachlan Galvin and the team's recruitment strategy.

Ahead of a crucial match against the Broncos, Ciraldo is undeterred by external opinions suggesting he should move Galvin into the halves, a position more suited for him, and drop Toby Sexton for better team combinations as they approach the finals.

Galvin, who recently transferred from the Wests Tigers, has begun his Bulldogs career with notable success-winning his first two games before facing a defeat against Penrith.

Despite this, Ciraldo emphasizes that the coaching staff is unified in their approach and focused on their internal strategies rather than public criticism.

He remarked, "I don't see a whole lot of it.

I am told about it at different times, but internally we all understand what we're trying to do here."

Ciraldo's statement reflects confidence in his plan for Galvin and the team's overall direction, as he credits the positive environment created by his trusted team members.

He added, "We're all on the same page and I've got a number of good people around me whose opinions I trust inside the four walls."

Addressing the ongoing doubts surrounding the Bulldogs, he acknowledged that much of the criticism comes from the same voices who previously doubted their recruitment strategy and overall setup, stating, "It's probably the same voices who are doubting what we did now who doubted the recruitment strategy, doubted the forward pack, and doubted a lot of other things we did along the way."

Ciraldo's comments display a determined mindset as he focuses on preparing his team for upcoming challenges without letting external noise dictate their decisions.
