The Sydney Roosters are over the moon to announce that halfback Sam Walker has inked a two-year contract extension, ensuring his spot with the Foundation Club until at least 2027.
Since bursting onto the NRL scene with the Roosters in 2021, the talented playmaker has cemented himself as a crucial part of the squad.
Despite being sidelined with an ACL injury towards the end of the 2024 season, the 22-year-old Walker has racked up a impressive 77 top-grade appearances so far.
Roosters Director of Football, Mitchell Aubusson, was delighted to secure Walker's services for the long haul, praising his commitment and contribution to the team.
"We're thrilled to have Sam on board for another two years.
He's a real game-changer on the field and a big part of the plans moving forward," said Aubusson, using all his years of experience to negotiate this pivotal deal for the Club.
With Walker's future now locked in, the Roosters can look forward to seeing their young star continue to light up the field with his skills and determination, all while wearing the red, white, and blue with pride.
