Ryan Sutton, a forward recently released by the Canterbury Bulldogs, has received a new opportunity from the Gold Coast Titans, as reported by zerotackle.com.
Sutton faced numerous injury issues during his time at Belmore, participating in only 13 first-grade matches and struggling to justify his $550,000 annual contract.
His tenure was primarily marked by time spent on the sidelines due to injuries and playing in the NSW Cup.
Notably, he underwent a complete knee reconstruction, in addition to previous knee and hip ailments.
Following his release in March, Sutton has now signed a deal with the Titans for the remainder of the 2025 NRL season, according to News Corp.
He last played in the NRL during Round 27 of 2023.
Prior to his time with the Bulldogs, Sutton had a successful four-year stint with the Canberra Raiders from 2019 to 2022, competing in 75 games, as well as five seasons with the Wigan Warriors from 2014 to 2018, which included a loan spell with Workington Town in 2015.
