A die-hard NRL fan has pulled off a massive win by snagging some of Corey Parker's prized possessions after purchasing the Brisbane Broncos legend's abode.
Parker and his wife Margaux have offloaded their family home in Daisy Hill for a cool $2.875 million.
The Parkers initially bought the house for $2.05 million back in May of 2023, raking in over $800,000 in profit following some renovations.
According to reports from realestate.com.au, the $2.875 million sale sets a new record for the suburb.
The lucky buyer is rumored to be a local NRL enthusiast who not only acquired Parker's house but also some of his coveted memorabilia.
The property was said to be adorned with Parker's jerseys, trophies, and other keepsakes from his illustrious career, which includes 347 NRL games for the Broncos, 19 State of Origin appearances for Queensland, and 13 Test matches for Australia.
Real estate agent Nathan Strudwick revealed that the buyer requested Parker to leave behind a piece of sports memorabilia in the games room to kickstart his own collection and honor the previous owner's legacy.
Describing the residence as fit for royalty, Strudwick dubbed Corey and Margaux as the king and queen of Logan.
In a recent interview on SEN radio, Parker expressed his willingness to "leave everything" in the house for the right price, drawing parallels to the revered baggy green tradition in cricket.
"If you want to buy the Parker residence at the right price, I could leave everything.
I will happily part with whatever and just move on," he remarked.
Parker mentioned that he and Margaux are now on the lookout for their next renovation venture.
"It's all spruced up now, and we're already eyeing the next project," he stated.
