Free tickets to Home Opener for flood-affected communities

LeagueNews.co | Nick Loken

The North Queensland Cowboys are stepping up to the plate [in true Rugby League fashion] with a generous offer for flood-affected communities in the region.

In a move that is sure to score big with locals, the Cowboys are handing out 250 complimentary double passes to their home opener clash against the Sharks on Saturday 15 March.

Residents from Ingham, Cardwell, and Tully are being encouraged to get in on the action [and grab their tickets before the final whistle blows] by registering their details at the link provided.

But [make sure you don't drop the ball], as registration closes at 5pm on Wednesday 12 March 2025 (or sooner if full capacity is reached).

This [all-star] initiative is the result of a winning team effort from the football club, partners Toyota and XXXX, the Cowboys Community Foundation, and Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

Together, they have kicked goals by distributing over $60,000 in funds, tickets, and equipment to communities in need.

[With the Cowboys rallying behind them], North Queenslanders can [charge down the field] knowing that their local team has their back during tough times.
