In this week's Rugby League Pathways Preview, the Macarthur Wests Tigers are gearing up for a big road trip to Newcastle.

Four of their junior representative teams will be facing tough competitions on Saturday, while the unbeaten Macarthur Wests Tigers teams will be playing their final home games in Camden on Sunday.

The Balmain Tigers will be kicking off the action against the unbeaten Parramatta Eels in the SG Ball Cup.

After suffering a 2-point loss to the Roosters last weekend, the Tigers are determined to bounce back and secure a victory.

Meanwhile, the Wests Tigers' two female teams will be showcasing their skills at St John Oval in the Lisa Fiaola and Tarsha Gale Cup competitions.

The Under 17s team, who had a solid start to the season with a 2-point win, will be looking to maintain their momentum.

On the other hand, the Tarsha Gale team is eager to bounce back from a heavy loss they experienced at Leichhardt.

The Wests Magpies' Harold Matthews and SG Ball teams will also be in action in Newcastle, following their trip to Melbourne last weekend.

The Matts team is currently sitting at a 100% win record, while the Ball side managed to secure a 24-all draw against the Storm after a comfortable win over the Sea Eagles in Round 1.

As the teams hit the road for these crucial matches, they will be leaving it all on the field in pursuit of victory.
