Another Newcastle Knights player is rumored to be considering an early departure from the club as they shake up their lineup and look to shuffle their salary cap.

According to reports from zerotackle.com, Adam Elliott, a key player in the Knights' forward pack at lock, may soon be bidding farewell to the team.

Having made a name for himself since joining the Knights in 2023, Elliott has been a standout player on the field.

With 164 first-grade appearances under his belt, including 39 with the Knights, Elliott has proven his worth after stints with the Canterbury Bulldogs and Canberra Raiders.

Currently under contract until the end of the 2025 season with a salary of $500,000 per year, Elliott is now the latest player to be linked with a potential exit, giving him the opportunity to explore other options in the market.

According to Adrian Proszenko from The Herald, other players who have been mentioned in potential exits include Daniel Saifiti, Jayden Brailey, and Jack Hetherington.

As the Knights continue to make changes and reshape their roster, Elliott's future with the club remains uncertain, with speculation swirling about where he may end up next in the world of Rugby League.
