In the world of Rugby League, all eyes will be on Penrith star Nathan Cleary and his injured shoulder when the Panthers take on the Roosters this Friday.

Having to face a final straight off the back of a shoulder injury is no easy feat for Cleary, who is considered one of the NRL's best players.

However, Roosters coach Trent Robinson has made it clear that his team will not shy away from targeting Cleary's weak spot.

Despite the temptation to focus solely on exploiting Cleary's injury, Robinson insists that his team will stick to their game plan and not veer off course just to test the star player's limits.

Cleary, who has been battling with his shoulder since the pre-season and aggravated it in a crucial match against the Storm, has proven his fitness and will not need any painkilling injections to get through the highly anticipated qualifying final.

As Cleary braces himself for the Roosters, he can expect fierce opposition from Angus Crichton, the recipient of the prestigious Brad Fittler Medal.

Crichton, known for his aggressive style of play, has dominated other halfbacks this season with his relentless tackles.

However, it remains to be seen if Crichton will focus solely on exploiting Cleary's injury during the upcoming match.

Robinson acknowledges the importance of targeting vulnerable players like Cleary in a game, stating, "You know when someone has got an injury, and you know that you have to ask the question."

With tensions running high and a spot in the next round on the line, Cleary and the Roosters are set to deliver an electrifying clash on the field this Friday.
