According to a report on roosters.com.au, Coach John Strange believes that the loss to the Raiders was a wakeup call for the team.
It has ignited a hunger within the players, pushing them to step up in all areas of their game.
With the Minor Premiership and a home Semi Final on the line, Strange is pleased with the team's recent 46-12 victory over the Eels in Round 7.
However, he acknowledges that there are still areas that need improvement before their upcoming match against Newcastle.
