In a thrilling semi-final clash at AAMI Park, the Sydney Roosters went head-to-head with the Melbourne Storm.

The Tricolours found themselves trailing by 10 points in the first 25 minutes and were eager to narrow the deficit before halftime.

Their determination paid off when a clever right-to-left play caused havoc for the Storm's defense, resulting in a set restart.

Seizing the opportunity, Brandon Smith, playing from dummy half on the first tackle, powered through three defenders and touched down for his team's first points of the game.

With the Storm leading by four points, they had a chance to extend their advantage as Harry Grant made a strong surge through the middle, successfully offloading the ball to Tom Eisenhuth.

Eisenhuth, sprinting towards the corner, was met by the Roosters' captain, James Tedesco, who executed a courageous bootlace tackle on the much larger opponent, preventing a potential try.
