The Sydney Roosters Junior Representative teams are on fire, maintaining their dominant form in their respective competitions with an impressive record of just one defeat in eight matches over the weekend.

This is a testament to their skill and determination on the field.

The Central Coast Roosters, unfortunately, fell short against the Illawarra Steelers by a mere two points in a closely contested Round 2 encounter.

It was a low-scoring affair, highlighting the defensive prowess of both teams.

In another thrilling match, the Sydney Roosters Lisa Fiaola Cup side, in their debut season, secured a hard-fought victory over the Wests Tigers by a nail-biting two points at Leichhardt Oval on Saturday.

The Roosters got off to a flying start, scoring two tries in the first fifteen minutes, establishing a significant lead.

The Tigers fought back and had a 10-6 advantage at halftime.

However, the resilient Roosters didn't give up, with Irae Savea scoring soon after the resumption.

Although the home side responded with two tries, the Roosters were determined to secure the win.

With less than ten minutes remaining, halfback Talea Tonga showcased her exceptional speed and skill with a remarkable length-of-the-field effort, sealing the victory with her second try of the game.

The Sydney Roosters are now aiming for a perfect three wins in a row as they prepare to take on the St George Illawarra Dragons at Henson Park in Round 3.

This upcoming match will undoubtedly test the Roosters' mettle and provide fans with another thrilling display of Rugby League.
