The Roosters have made some significant adjustments to their leadership group for the upcoming 2025 season, with James Tedesco remaining as captain while Lindsay Collins and Victor Radley have been elevated to new roles in light of the departure of some experienced players.
Tedesco, who has been at the helm since 2021, will lead the team with his new deputies Collins and Radley by his side, following the exits of Luke Keary and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves to the Super League.
Collins and Radley, two of the club's most seasoned players, have stepped up to fill the void left by their former teammates, as the Roosters prepare for a season in which their top-eight ambitions are already under scrutiny.
Despite the loss of key players, the Roosters have assembled a strong leadership group that includes the likes of Connor Watson, Angus Crichton, Nat Butcher, Spencer Leniu, Sam Walker, and new addition Chad Townsend.
"James has been an exceptional leader for the club.
He commands respect, and his dedication and determination set a high bar for everyone else," commented Roosters coach Trent Robinson.
"Lindsay and Victor bring a wealth of enthusiasm and dedication, and their leadership qualities are continuing to evolve."
