The Sydney Roosters suffered a disappointing 20-4 defeat against the Newcastle Knights at McDonald Jones Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
According to roosters.com.au, Fullback and Vice-Captain Corban Baxter stood out in the match, scoring one try, breaking nine tackles, and accumulating an impressive 154 run metres.
Due to his exceptional performance, Baxter was awarded the City Index Fan-Voted Player of the Match title.
In terms of defense, Keilee Joseph and Keeley Davis once again showcased their skills for the Roosters, making a combined total of 76 tackles.
Despite their efforts, the Roosters were unable to secure a victory against the Knights.
It was a disappointing result for the Roosters, who will need to regroup and strategize for future matches.
