Rooster's May-day ends with attitude display

Despite securing a hefty $950,000 contract extension just last month, Terrell May's time with the Sydney Roosters has come to a swift end due to concerns about his attitude towards the game.

In a candid interview with The Daily Telegraph, May bluntly stated "I don't want to play," effectively closing the book on his time with the Roosters, who have now granted him his release.

While the Roosters have remained tight-lipped about May's departure and the underlying attitude issues, sources close to News Corp suggest that the club is now focused on hitting the refresh button on their culture.

As a club that prides itself on its strong values, the Roosters expect their players to embody and uphold these standards at all times.

Unfortunately for May, his comments and approach apparently did not mesh well with the organization.

It is believed that May's negative outlook started to rub off on some of the younger players within the squad, sparking concerns about his future with the team.

In the brutal world of Rugby League, attitude can be the difference between success and failure, and it seems that May's mindset ultimately led to his premature departure from the Roosters.
