Roosters Junior Teams Defeated by Parramatta

Club Weekend Results | Saturday, 28th March, 2026

This weekend, the Sydney Roosters' men's teams had a bye, while junior representative teams faced Parramatta in Merrylands.

Unfortunately, all four matches resulted in losses for the Roosters.

As the reigning champions, the Roosters will head to Melbourne next Saturday to take on the 3rd placed Storm in their last regular season match.

The Central Coast Roosters, currently sitting at 16th place, lost 28-8 against the 6th placed Parramatta Eels.

Despite being behind 10-4 at half time, the Roosters struggled to make a significant impact throughout the game.

The match was significantly delayed for more than two hours due to an injury to Parramatta's Oliver Walker, waiting for an ambulance.

Eventually, the game resumed but ended in near darkness after 7:30 PM.

Wyatt Katon and Brodie Jeffreys each scored tries for the Roosters, with Jeffreys marking his 7th try in just 6 games.

Despite the setback, the Central Coast Roosters remain in 16th place, preparing to face the 5th placed Manly-Warringah on Sunday at Tuggerah.
