The Sydney Roosters have scored a try by adding two new players to their NRLW Top 24 roster, according to a report on roosters.com.au.

Taina Naividi has been signed on for a one-year contract for the upcoming 2024 season and has already joined the team.

Making a comeback from an ACL injury, Naividi previously played for the Parramatta Eels in the delayed 2021 NRLW season (which was played in 2022), showcasing her skills in five games.

Her return to the Roosters adds strength to the squad and injects some much-needed energy into their game.

Meanwhile, Eliza Lopamaua has been promoted from the development list to the Roosters Top 24 squad, demonstrating the Club's dedication to nurturing young talent and building a strong team for the future.

Lopamaua, who served as vice-captain for the inaugural Australian School Girls team in 2022, has risen through the ranks via the Roosters Female Pathway Program, showing determination and talent that will surely benefit the team in the upcoming season.

With these new additions, the Roosters are looking to strengthen their squad and create a winning combination that will lead to success on the field.

With Naividi and Lopamaua on board, the Roosters are ready to tackle the competition head-on and make a mark in the NRLW.
