Roosters' Errors Costly in Loss to Melbourne

Trent Robinson calls out Roosters’ ‘disrespect’ in Storm reality check

Trent Robinson Critiques Roosters' Disrespect in Loss to Storm

Trent Robinson has voiced concerns regarding the Roosters' "lack of respect for the ball" following their 18-4 defeat against Melbourne, emphasizing that having six Origin players in the lineup is the "last excuse" he will make.

While the Roosters displayed a solid defensive strategy for the majority of the match, their numerous mistakes ultimately led to their downfall, with a staggering 18 turnovers.

This inconsistency provided the Storm with ample opportunities in favorable positions, as they completed 49 tackles in the Roosters' 20-meter zone, in stark contrast to the Roosters' mere 21.

Robinson's frustration was evident in the locker room post-match, although he chose not to elaborate on his team's feedback in a general sense.

Nonetheless, he was candid about assessing the team's performance.

"Really poor, a real lack of respect for the harder parts of the game, lack of respect for the ball and how you should play the game," Robinson stated.
