The Sydney Roosters will be returning to their home ground, Allianz Stadium, to face off against the Dolphins in a historic NRL match on Saturday evening, as reported by roosters.com.au.

This will be the second time the Roosters will be playing against the Dolphins since their entry into the competition in 2023.

In their previous encounter, the Roosters suffered a 10-point defeat at Suncorp Stadium, with Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii scoring their first try of the season in the 10th minute.

Both teams are in desperate need of a win to keep their hopes of making the finals alive.

The Roosters are coming off a remarkable victory against the Sea Eagles last week, while the Dolphins have experienced two close losses.

Head coach Trent Robinson has made one change to the line-up, bringing in Dylan Napa for his NRL return, replacing the unavailable Nathan Brown.

James Tedesco will lead the team as the skipper from the fullback position, with Daniel Tupou and Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii on the wings.

In the centres, Joseph Manu and Billy Smith complete the back line.
