Destiny Mino-Sinapati has had a remarkable year in 2023, and her achievements were acknowledged at the QRL Awards where she was named the BMD Premiership rookie of the year.

The news was reported by titans.com.au, who highlighted Mino-Sinapati's rise in an article titled "Mino-Sinapati knighted rookie as six Titans share in QRL spoils." The 18-year-old player from the Gold Coast was one of six award recipients from her club.

She started the year by showcasing her talent in the Future Titans Academy and made a significant impact by scoring four tries against the Newcastle Knights.

Mino-Sinapati then moved on to play for Wynnum Manly in the Harvey Norman Under 19s before quickly being promoted to their BMD Premiership team.

Wearing the No.

1 jersey, she made seven appearances and displayed her exceptional speed and ability to break tackles.

Her outstanding performance helped the Seagulls reach the grand final.

Furthermore, her talent did not go unnoticed by the Queensland selectors, who chose her for the Maroons Under 19 team.

Titans coach Karyn Murphy was also impressed by Mino-Sinapati's breakout season and included her in the Gold Coast's top 24.

As a result, she made her NRLW debut in Round 1 and made a strong impression in her first season.
