Wests Tigers have had a successful night at the Dally M Awards, with two of their NRLW stars receiving recognition for their outstanding performances in 2023.

Jakiya Whitfeld, known for her impressive skills on both offense and defense, was awarded the NRLW Winger of the Year.

Despite being in just her second season in the league, Whitfeld managed to play in all nine games, scoring four tries and breaking the line on ten occasions.

She quickly gained a reputation as one of the toughest runners in the league, setting a new record for the second-highest number of run meters in an NRLW match during Round 2 against Cronulla.

In addition to her attacking prowess, Whitfeld's defensive efforts were also acknowledged as she received the NRLW Tackle of the Year award for her remarkable 70-meter chase of Roosters' center Isabelle Kelly.

Another standout player from Wests Tigers, Sala Togatuki, was honored as the NRLW Prop of the Year.

These awards highlight the exceptional talent and dedication of these players and their contributions to the success of the Wests Tigers team.
