The Canberra Raiders are charging into their 2025 campaign with coach Ricky Stuart leading a squad of 25 players, ready to take on the Vegas opener.

Captain Joseph Tapine is at the helm as they jet set out of the nation's capital on Thursday morning, eager to showcase the game of rugby league to US fans.

With Vegas hosting NRL games for only the second time, this marks the first appearance for the green and gold-clad Raiders.

Young guns like Noah Martin, Matty Nicholson, Jed Stuart, Owen Pattie, Ethan Sanders, and Savelio Tamale are also making the trip, adding a fresh dynamic to the team.

In particular, Owen Pattie's signing until 2028 has added extra excitement to the mix.

Ricky Stuart, known for his tough coaching style and strategic plays, admitted that selecting the squad was a challenge, emphasizing the importance of ensuring the right mix of talent and experience for the upcoming matches.

The Raiders are revving up their engines and gearing up for what promises to be an exciting start to their Vegas adventure.
