Brisbane Broncos captain Adam Reynolds has addressed reports suggesting a potential return to the South Sydney Rabbitohs in 2027.
As one of several Broncos players whose contracts expire at the end of the following season, Reynolds' future remains uncertain. Many anticipate that he may retire in 2026, especially after the club secured Jonah Pezet to usher in a new era.
Although he hasn't made a definitive choice regarding his retirement, speculation has arisen about the possibility of the 35-year-old reuniting with the Rabbitohs under Wayne Bennett for the 2027 NRL season.
Nevertheless, the experienced halfback clarified that he has had no discussions with the Rabbitohs. "No, it's just rumours. You know how media works, they like to get stories out there and whatnot," he stated during an interview on The Today Show.
"There's been no communication at all. I'm a Bronco through and through. Love the club up here and looking to have success again next year."
Reynolds' statement comes as he aims to help the Brisbane Broncos secure back-to-back titles in 2026, with the team being considered heavy favorites alongside the Melbourne Storm.
