Reece Robson Set for Roosters Debut Friday

Robinson keen for Robson to finally 'get started'

Trent Robinson, coach of the Sydney Roosters, is eager to finally see Reece Robson don the club's jersey against the Panthers this Friday.

Robson, who joined the Roosters in December 2024, has surprisingly recovered from a fractured thumb that was anticipated to keep him sidelined until mid-April.

His return, now four weeks ahead of schedule, offers a timely boost for the Roosters and a chance for Robinson to witness his collaboration with halves Sam Walker and Daly Cherry-Evans, along with fullback James Tedesco.

Although he is a State of Origin player, Robson's arrival from the North Queensland Cowboys received less attention compared to the buzz surrounding Cherry-Evans' signing.

The Roosters have faced challenges filling the No.9 position since Jake Friend's retirement in 2021, but Robson is expected to instill much-needed stability in that role.
