‘I’m embarrassed’: Raiders on Vegas scuffle

Raiders ace Hudson Young has expressed his deep regret for his involvement in a tussle with teammate Morgan Smithies in Las Vegas, describing his actions as "a real knock to the team."

The duo faced the press on Tuesday morning (AEDT) and offered apologies for their behavior, with Smithies showcasing a shiner earned during training rather than from their scuffle at Resorts World.

It's been rumored that the pair of stars engaged in fisticuffs in the hotel elevator after a mix-up at check-in left one of them without a place to crash for the night, prompting the attempted room-sharing that sparked the altercation.

An inflatable baseball bat allegedly made an appearance, catching the attention of security who promptly booted them from the premises.

"I'm feeling pretty sheepish for letting myself, the mates, and the NRL down," Young admitted.

"After a night out last Thursday, we hit a snag with the room situation."
