Canberra Raiders veteran, Josh Papalii, has brushed off retirement rumours with a hearty chuckle, insisting he's not ready to call it quits just yet, despite creeping towards the latter stages of his illustrious career.

As per reports from the folks over at zerotackle.com, Papalii, now 32 years young and off-contract at the conclusion of the 2025 NRL season, remains focused on leading the Raiders back to the promised land of finals footy.

He's also keeping his options open, willing to entertain offers from other teams if need be.

"Don't listen to the noise, mate," Papalii bantered in response to a curious fan inquiring about his retirement plans, as reported by The Canberra Times.

A true blue Raiders stalwart, Papalii stands tall as only the third player in the club's history to hit the 300-game milestone, following in the formidable footsteps of Jason Croker and Jarrod Croker.

Still a force to be reckoned with in Canberra's forward line-up, Papalii's on-field bromance with Joe Tapine is the stuff of rugby league legend, proving to be a linchpin of the Raiders' success with his brute strength and unwavering determination, whether he's starting or coming off the bench.
