In a thrilling top four clash, the Raiders secured a gutsy 16-10 victory against the Warriors, marking their first win in New Zealand since 2019.

Both teams entered the match in strong form, with the Raiders sitting fourth and the Warriors second on the ladder.

The sold-out Go Media Stadium in Auckland hosted the contest, following the Raiders' hefty 30-8 win over the Warriors in Las Vegas during their last encounter.

The match started under wet and slippery conditions, with the Raiders initially controlling play, thanks to the impressive kicking of halfback Jamal Fogarty.

However, things turned in the 12th minute when the Warriors capitalized on a series of set restarts, gaining momentum.

A subsequent penalty against Raiders captain Joe Tapine for a crusher tackle allowed the Warriors to take a 2-point lead by successfully converting a penalty goal.

This win underscores the competitive nature of the league, reinforcing both teams' placing in the top four.
