The Canberra Raiders have enjoyed significant on-field success this year, and they aim to extend their dominance into the off-season.
Led by head coach Ricky Stuart, the team is embarking on a fact-finding tour across the UK to forge high-profile connections.
The Daily Telegraph reports that the Raiders are looking to engage with Formula 1 star Oscar Piastri, leveraging their relationship with former race car driver Mark Webber, an avid supporter of the Raiders.
The seven-member touring group will also meet with Andy Farrell, the coach of the British and Irish Lions rugby union team, as well as members of the English cricket team, before concluding their journey with the Kangaroos rugby league squad.
In addition, the Raiders may visit iconic football clubs Arsenal and Chelsea as part of their preparations.
This UK tour promises to be historic and is set to strengthen one of the NRL's most efficiently managed clubs by connecting with some of the world's largest and most successful franchises, which is sure to provide a significant advantage as the league continues to develop.
