The Canberra Raiders have emerged victorious in a heart-stopping clash against the Sydney Roosters, securing a thrilling 14-12 win on Sunday afternoon at Allianz Stadium.

In a display of true grit and determination, the Raiders managed to fend off a relentless Roosters attack in the closing stages of the game.

Despite facing an onslaught of Roosters possession, the visitors held firm to clinch the victory.

The match got off to a rocky start for the Raiders, with a costly error leading to a penalty goal for the Sydney Roosters, giving them an early 2-0 lead.

However, the Raiders quickly turned the tide with a decisive play that saw captain Elliott Whitehead crash over the try line off a slick pass from Danny Levi, putting Canberra ahead 4-2.

Not content with just one try, the Raiders continued to press forward, with Levi orchestrating a brilliant play that resulted in Simi Sasagi crossing over for their second try of the day.

With the scoreboard reading 10-2 in favor of the Raiders at halftime, the team was determined to maintain their lead in the second half.

As the game wore on, the Roosters launched a spirited comeback, putting the Raiders' defense to the test.

However, in a display of sheer determination and resilience, the Raiders held on until the final whistle, emerging victorious in what can only be described as a classic Rugby League showdown.
