The Rugby League Players' Association (RLPA) has revealed the finalists for the 2023 Players' Champion awards, with five contenders from the NRL and NRLW earning the most votes from their fellow players.
These finalists include Addin Fonua-Blake from the NZ Warriors, Payne Haas from the Brisbane Broncos, Shaun Johnson from the NZ Warriors, Adam Reynolds from the Brisbane Broncos, and Reece Walsh, also from the Brisbane Broncos.
On the NRLW side, Tarryn Aiken from the Sydney Roosters, Teagan Berry from the St George Illawarra Dragons, Zahara Temara from the Canberra Raiders, Sarah Togatuki from the Wests Tigers, and Tamika Upton from the Newcastle Knights have been named as finalists.
Both the NRL and NRLW finalists have the opportunity to claim their first-ever Players' Champion accolade, which will result in two new names being added to the prestigious honor roll in 2023.
