The Raiders SG Ball and Lisa Fiaola Cup sides both suffered defeats in the first round of the junior reps, losing to the Rabbitohs and Tigers in Sydney.

However, the SG Ball Cup side will have a chance for redemption in an elimination final against the Bulldogs at Leichardt Oval on Saturday afternoon.

Despite conceding the first try in the second half, the Raiders fought back with tries from Alex Hardy and Luke Cannon.

Captain Braydon Darmody's impressive goalkicking kept the Raiders in the lead, but Souths' Taj Alvarez scored a late try to narrow the gap to 28-26.

A penalty after the final siren allowed the Rabbitohs to tie the score with a successful kick, sending the game into extra time.
