The Raiders skipper, Elliott Whitehead, pulled off a 'miraculous' flick pass that sparked a thrilling comeback reminiscent of Rugby League's greatest moments.

After being demolished by the Sharks in their previous match, Canberra faced a daunting 20-0 deficit against the Sea Eagles.

But in true Aussie fashion, they dug deep and clawed their way back to a sensational 26-24 victory.

Coach Ricky Stuart, who could have easily been tempted to hit the road after such a rough start, stuck it out and witnessed his team's heroic turnaround.

With the odds stacked against them and a lopsided penalty count, the Raiders showed true grit and determination, much to the delight of Stuart and the fans.

In the end, it was a true captain's knock from Whitehead that set the tone for the comeback.

As Andrew Voss aptly put it, it was an 'unbelievable' victory that will surely go down in Canberra Raiders history.

The scenes in the coach's box said it all - pure elation and relief as the team basked in the glory of their remarkable win.

From being on the brink of defeat to snatching victory from the jaws of defeat, this game will be remembered as a true testament to the resilience and fighting spirit of the Green Machine.
