Rabbits' Final Hopes Hopped Over by Roosters Rivalry?

NRL ladder predictor: Souths to miss finals at hands of arch-rival Roosters

LeagueNews.co | Jason Patrick

In the NRL ladder predictor, it seems that Souths will miss out on the finals.

The Panthers, with games against the Eels and Cowboys, are unlikely to lose another game.

Even if they finish with the same points as the Broncos, their superior for-and-against record will give them the edge.

The Broncos, on the other hand, have tough games against the Raiders and Storm, and will be without their halfback Adam Reynolds.

The surprise packets of the season, the Dolphins, are predicted to win their games against the Dragons and Cowboys.

The Storm, with a game against the Titans before a showdown with the Broncos, are expected to come out on top.

However, the return of superstar fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen might give them an advantage.

The Knights, with Kalyn Ponga in sensational form, are predicted to end up fifth at the end of the regular rounds.

Their games against the Sharks and Dragons should result in wins, but the Sharks will also be fighting for their place in the finals and could cause an upset.

The Sharks' victory over the Cowboys has all-but secured their spot in the finals.

A loss to the Knights should be offset by a win over the Raiders, although the result against Canberra is uncertain.
