The South Sydney Rabbitohs have successfully signed one of the top young playmakers from their rivals, the Roosters.
Playmaker Isaac Fotu-Moala, a member of this year's Under-18s NSW City team, has chosen to join the Rabbitohs, securing a two-year contract that will last until at least the end of the 2027 season.
The reigning Players' Player of the Year for the Central Coast Roosters in the Laurie Daley Cup, Fotu-Moala aims to make an impression in the Under-19s SG Ball Cup competition in 2025, where he is expected to start in the halves.
As the latest halfback prospect to leave the Roosters, he is a student at Central Coast Sports College, which reached the finals of the NRL Schoolboy Cup. He plays alongside another Rabbitohs talent and Australian Schoolboys centre, Dayne Jennings.
Fotu-Moala has been compared to Jarome Luai due to his electric attacking style. He is known for his exceptional footwork, skill, and the ability to challenge defenders head-on.
