The South Sydney Rabbitohs are actively enhancing their roster with another lower-grade signing aimed at strengthening their outside backs and improving their performance in the NSW Cup compared to 2025.

At just 23 years old, the newly signed player demonstrated impressive skills by scoring 13 tries in 18 games. He also made 30 tackle busts, 12 line-breaks, recorded two try assists, and accumulated a total of 1,746 running metres, averaging 97 metres per game.

This player was part of the 2023 Australian Universities team that toured New Zealand and previously developed his skills in the Wests Tigers' pathways between 2019 and 2024. During that time, he regularly played in the Under-21s Jersey Flegg Cup and made six appearances in the NSW Cup.

The acquisition of this player follows the signing of Franklin Pele, a former NRL front-rower who is returning to Australia after a stint in the United Kingdom, where he played competitively in the second-tier of the English Super League and also in France's rugby union league.

Pele began this season with the Bradford Bulls, competing in the RFL Championship, before transitioning to rugby union with Racing Club de Narbonne in France, where he participated in the third division of the 15-man code.

Although Pele was seen as a potential game-changer off the interchange bench, he unfortunately did not meet expectations, spending much of his time in the NSW Cup with the feeder teams of the Canterbury Bulldogs and Cronulla Sharks.

Nevertheless, he did appear in seven first-grade NRL games from 2021 to 2023 and aims to make a significant impact upon joining the Rabbitohs.
