According to reports, the South Sydney Rabbitohs are considering a switch for Latrell Mitchell from fullback to the centres next year.

There are concerns about whether Mitchell is better suited to the fullback position or the centres.

The Rabbitohs are also rumored to have explored the possibility of a swap deal between coaches Jason Demetriou and Sam Burgess with Warrington.

Jack Wighton is set to join the Rabbitohs from Canberra next season and can play multiple positions.

Despite Mitchell's late-season return from injury, his performances have come under heavy criticism for his inability to be in the right place at the right time.

Many believe he should permanently switch to the centre position where he has had success for NSW and Australia.

Mitchell made a name for himself at the Roosters playing in the centres, helping them win back-to-back premierships.

The Rabbitohs' historic flop this season, where they missed out on the finals after leading the competition, has led to a review of the club's performance, including Mitchell's position.
