The South Sydney Rabbitohs are set to sign a young, talented fullback, further bolstering their roster for the upcoming season.

This signing aims to allow the player to learn from existing stars Latrell Mitchell and Jye Gray.

As reported by zerotackle.com, the Rabbitohs have been actively rebuilding their team over the past two years, striving to re-establish themselves as contenders in the NRL Finals series.

While recent discussions have primarily focused on the futures of key players Alex Johnston, Cody Walker, and Lewis Dodd, the Rabbitohs are reportedly in advanced negotiations with a player from the Brisbane Broncos.

This player, Latrell Siegwalt, is currently on a train-and-trial contract and is expected to join South Sydney at the conclusion of the 2025 season, signing on for the 2026 and 2027 NRL seasons.

This strategic signing follows the Rabbitohs' recent confirmations of new players, including Jonah Glover, Moala Graham-Taufa, and Bailey Trew from the Broncos, showcasing the club's commitment to strengthening their lineup.
