Rabbitohs Halfback Suspended to Start 2026

The South Sydney Rabbitohs faced significant challenges in 2025 due to their stars' unavailability, and unfortunately, this trend is set to continue into 2026.

Halfback Jamie Humphreys will miss the opening two games of next season due to a Grade 2 Dangerous Contact charge for an incident involving Sydney Roosters player Siua Wong. Should he choose to contest the charge and be unsuccessful, he could be looking at a suspension of three matches, which would be a substantial setback for the Rabbitohs' 2026 campaign.

Meanwhile, Roosters forward Victor Radley has also received a charge for a Grade 1 High Tackle on Jack Wighton. He will only face a $1,000 fine, although that amount could increase to $1,500 if he decides to contest the charge and loses.

The last infringement from Friday night involved Sean Keppie of the Rabbitohs, who received a Grade 1 Careless High Tackle charge for his actions against Robert Toia.
