Rabbitohs' Graham-Taufa Aims to Revive Career

Centre Moala Graham-Taufa, now with the South Sydney Rabbitohs, is eager to "start again" and revitalize his career after joining his fourth NRL team in six years. He signed a one-year contract with the Rabbitohs following a challenging period at the New Zealand Warriors, where he managed to participate in only four NRL games over the last two seasons.

Despite his limited NRL appearances, Graham-Taufa showcased his skills by earning the 2024 NSW Cup Player of the Year award, scoring 17 tries in 23 matches. However, he struggled to secure a consistent role within the Warriors' first-grade lineup, prompting his decision to move to the Rabbitohs, where he will compete for a place in the backline alongside players such as Alex Johnston, Campbell Graham, Isaiah Tass, and new teammate Edward Kosi, also from the Warriors.

"I did all my SG Ball and Flegg coming up with the Roosters, so I know the area pretty well, but it's a bit different this time, and I'm more mature," Graham-Taufa noted, emphasizing his growth and readiness for new challenges. He also expressed confidence in his new coach, stating, "Wayne is one of the best coaches, so it's one way to just upgrade my footy."
