Rabbitohs face a storm, stars dimmed by fate

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are facing a significant injury crisis as reports indicate that star player Keaon Koloamatangi will miss the remainder of the 2025 NRL season due to a high-grade syndesmosis injury.

Known for his impactful performances, Koloamatangi has been a key asset for the team, earning the nickname 'Mr.

Fix It.' Unfortunately, the injury will require surgery, with a recovery timeline of six to eight weeks, effectively sidelining him for the rest of the season.

While this setback is unfortunate, he is expected to fully recover and return for Round 1 next year.

Koloamatangi isn't alone on the injury list; he joins fellow stars Cody Walker, Cameron Murray, Latrell Mitchell, and others who are also facing season-ending injuries.

This growing list of sidelined players poses a significant challenge for the Rabbitohs as they navigate the remainder of the season.
