The Queensland Under 19 men's squad has been officially unveiled by the Queensland Rugby League, ready to take on New South Wales at the iconic Leichhardt Oval on June 20.

The squad of 20 warriors includes two fearless Mackay Cutters players who recently crossed the National Rugby League battlefield for the North Queensland Cowboys.

Jaxon Purdue and Jamal Shibasaki bring their battle-hardened experience to the upcoming interstate showdown in Sydney.

Accompanying Purdue and Shibasaki are a band of young guns who have dominated in both the Mal Meninga Cup and Hostplus Cup during the 2024 season.

Their impressive form, combined with a rigorous training camp held earlier in the year, sets the stage for a formidable Queensland squad under the command of head coach Ben Te'o.

Te'o will lead the charge with the support of coaching stalwarts Darius Boyd, Jesse Maclean, and Nathan Small, bolstered by a team of seasoned performance staff and mentors led by FOG (Former Origin Great) Matt Gillett.

The stage is set for a fierce clash as Queensland looks to reign supreme over their southern rivals.
