In a dominant display, winger Jakiya Whitfeld showcased her skills by scoring four tries for the Australian Prime Minister's XIII in their 56-4 victory over Papua New Guinea.

Whitfeld, who had a successful NRLW season with the Wests Tigers, impressed with two tries in each half and an impressive total of over 200 metres run.

Despite the lopsided scoreline, PNG coach Ben Jeffries would have been pleased with his team's performance, considering their Test side reached the World Cup semi-finals last year.

The PNG PM's XIII showed resilience with several outstanding goal-line stands in defense, thrilling the vocal crowd in Port Moresby.

In the second half, Latoniya Norris scored a try for the hosts, bringing the spectators to their feet.

The Australians built an 18-0 lead at halftime thanks to doubles from Cassey Tohi-Hiku and Whitfeld, with challenging wind conditions resulting in only one successful conversion.

Just before halftime, Leila Kerowa came close to scoring for the hosts but unfortunately lost control of the ball while attempting to ground it.
