Phil Gould, the football boss of Canterbury, has been hospitalized while awaiting heart test results.
Gould was admitted to the hospital on Monday, leading to his absence from Nine's 100% Footy program.
Since then, he has remained hospitalized with no set timeline for his release. However, on Thursday morning he reassured fans via social media that "everything is OK."
He explained, "My regular blood tests this week, showed up something else that needed investigation."
He humorously noted, "Basically, I came in to change the tyres, and they found a problem with the engine. Go figure."
Gould expressed gratitude for the timely discovery of the issue, stating, "I'm lucky they found it early."
He praised the medical staff, saying, "The doctors and hospital staff have been simply amazing, but hopefully I'm going home soon."
He concluded with excitement, "Looking forward to Grand Final Day."
