Ahead of the 2025 NRL Finals series, Phil Gould has unveiled his 2025 Team of the Year, showcasing a mix of renowned players and some unexpected exclusions.

During his segment on Six Tackles with Gus, Gould detailed his selections, featuring three players each from the Canberra Raiders and Melbourne Storm, along with two representatives from the Dolphins and New Zealand Warriors.

Notably absent are any players from the Canterbury Bulldogs and Penrith Panthers, while the Dally M frontrunner James Tedesco has been passed over in favor of Kaeo Weekes.

Additional players who didn't make the cut include Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Kotoni Staggs, Mark Nawaqanitawase, Terrell May, and Hudson Young.
