Penrith retain title-winning Cup pair

Leuluai-Going and Ale extend with Panthers

Penrith's NSW Cup title-winning campaign in 2026 featured Kalani Leuluai-Going and Tom Ale, who have both re-signed for the 2027 season.

The pair arrived from the New Zealand Warriors in 2026 and helped Penrith secure the competition's title.

Leuluai-Going, 29, debuted for the club in Round 1 of the 2026 NRL season as Panther No. 637.

He captained the NSW Cup side throughout the year and led the team to a Grand Final win over the Newtown Jets.

Ale joined Penrith with 41 NRL appearances and became a regular in coach Matt Eisenhuth's side.

The 27-year-old prop scored six tries in 20 NSW Cup appearances during the season.

Panthers General Manager Rugby League Shane Elford welcomed the two players' continued commitment.

"We're delighted to have Kalani and Tom locked in at Panthers," Elford said.

"Both have brought leadership, experience and quality to the club, and we look forward to their contributions in 2027."
